TEEN PASSENGER DIES AFTER SPEEDING CAR CRASHES, FLIPS IN CHINATOWN
The Mazda was tilting off the Manhattan Bridge when it hit a control, smashed into a light shaft and hit a fire hydrant at the Bowery and Canal Street around 1 a.m., as indicated by police.
The effect evacuated the fire hydrant, which flew over the road as the auto toppled, catching the driver and 17-year-old traveler Shareef Bellerand inside, police said.
The fire office figured out how to remove them from the destruction after around 20 minutes.
Doctors hurried Bellerand, who lived in Brooklyn, to Lower Manhattan Hospital where he kicked the bucket, cops said. The 22-year-old driver is in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital.
