Brennan Ex-CIA Director : I Think Donald Trump ‘Is Afraid Of The President Of Russia’
Previous CIA Director John Brennan on Tuesday said he trusted President Donald Trump was "anxious" of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and guessed that Putin could "have something" of an individual sort on Trump.
In a meeting on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," co-grapple Willie Geist solicited Brennan, a successive pundit from Trump, why the President seemed reluctant to go up against Russia over specific issues.
"Do you trust he is some way or another under water to the leader of Russia?" Geist inquired.
"I think he fears the leader of Russia," Brennan reacted.
"Why?" Geist inquired.
"Indeed, I figure one can guess with reference to why," Brennan said. "That the Russians may have something on him by and by that they could simply take off and make his life more troublesome."
The previous CIA executive included the "unmistakably" it was vital to enhance relations with Russia, "however the way that he has had this stooping state of mind toward Mr. Putin, has not said anything negative in regards to him, I think keeps on saying to me that he has a comment and something intense to fear."
"Do you trust Russia has something on him?" Geist inquired.
"I trust that the Russians would not– " Brennan delayed.
"They would select activities in the event that they trust that it was to their greatest advantage and the Russians, I think, have had long involvement with Mr. Trump and may have things that they could uncover and uncover."
"Something individual, maybe?" Geist inquired.
"Maybe," Brennan concurred.
The trade comes in the midst of the President's inexorably vivacious assaults not against Putin, but rather against extraordinary advice Robert Mueller. Trump kept whining about Mueller's test of Russian race interfering and related issues on his Twitter account Wednesday.
